Course Description
Our new partnership with Cambridge University ESOL, has opened up thousands of opportunities for TEFL teachers in Asia, South America, Europe, and Africa. We are constantly developing our database of schools and teaching positions internationally, and a part of the course will deal with how and where to find work. Sucessful CELTA trainees will find that language schools and governments arround the world recognise, and prefer hiring teachers with an accredited CELTA.
The CELTA is an intensive 4-week TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course. You don't need any previous teaching experience or knowledge of methodology. You'll learn the basics of teaching English to adults such as understanding the structure of language (Language Analysis) and learning how to manage learners in a classroom (Classroom Management).
You will also learn how to teach reading and listening (Receptive Skills) , and writing and speaking skills (Productive Skills)
Our methodology teaches you how to improve students' vocabulary, phonemics and pronunciation, and how to produce and gather materials to use in the classroom.
You can prepare yourself for teaching English to Adults, and dramatically increase job prospects before travelling abroad.
Accommodation Options
Accomodation of any quality, from dorms to 5 star available within a 5 minute walk, and arranged on request. We only currently handle home-stay, and refer and advise on other requirements.
School Details - Durban
This is a new school based in a green suburb of Durban, South Africa. The school is only 5 minutes from the city centre and has a lovely view of the beautiful park opposite. They offer specialised teacher training courses. These range from introductory courses for candidates with no teaching experience to advanced in-service training for qualified teachers who want to improve and diversify their skills.

3. Download the application form and save it on your computer.
4. Complete it offline in your own time
5. Go back to www.cactustefl.com, sign in and submit your completed form.
