Course Description
This is a full-time four-week teaching practice course with genuine, paying EFL students. As well as teaching the course covers other aspects of the job not usually covered in CELTA and similar courses, such as placement testing, lesson planning and marking homework. You will receive full support from experienced trainers and you will also have chance to teach in teams and do unobserved teaching to allow you to develop without the pressure of assessment. The focus is entirely on practical skills and employability.
Maximum class size:
24 for lectures / workshops
8 for online groups
6 for observations / teaching practice

For full-time courses the university has various accommodation options including halls of residence and homestay as well as providing general advice.
School Details - London Westminster
This school has been in the historic building on Regent Street for over 170 years. Oxford Circus tube is a one-minute walk away and the area is served by a huge number of bus services.
Trainees will have access to all the university's facilities - computing, library, welfare and careers advice etc.
