Cactus Language Training in conjunction with the author of ‘Ruslan 1’, John Langran, present a practical workshop that will demonstrate innovative ideas to adapt and supplement the coursebook. The approach is practical and communicative, with up-to-date and useful language.

This workshop is suitable for newly qualified or experienced teachers of Russian.

John Langran, an experienced teacher of Russian, put the Ruslan course together. John studied Russian at Sussex University, and taught in Birmingham, where he was head of the Brasshouse Centre, Birmingham’s language centre for adults. He was Director of Studies for the Prime Minister’s Enterprise Initiative in Russia and author of the BBC Russian phrasebook (1995).
