Customer Feedback
I really liked Liverpool centre, and people are so warm there! The school and classes were very good too. What I enjoyed the most was making friends and travelling around the country. (Martin Mestre Melia, August 2010)
I decided to go to Liverpool because I combined the English courses with the fact to be in the Football city that I love. The school lessons were excellent; and I was able to visit a lot of famous football places there. (Erlend Fornes Gundersen, September 2009)
Cactus provided me with a very good service and it was very easy to book the course. I had a great experience and I cannot choose one thing that I enjoyed the most because there are so many; the Beatles, the pubs, the free museums, the trips to Manchester York or Leeds... The English classes were very good and it was easy to speak with everybody in the city. (Laura Carril, August 2009)
"The school is very good. I enjoyed every day all the classes. The teachers are very kind and they attend me all time. I decided to go to Liverpool because this year is the capital cultural of Europe. Maybe in the future they will not offer the same cultural activities.
My accommodation was with a very kind person, Pat. Her house is big and comfortable. The school is just 10 minutes by bus. And I could use the internet conection.
I enjoyed all my time during the trip. Mornings in the class, afternoons visiting museums and galeries and in the evening drinking some alcohol in the pubs with my class-mates."
(Isabel Gloria Marques Sintes, September 2008)
"I chose Cactus because they were very friendly. The school and the classes were adequate and at the right level. Furthermore the staff did great work. It was easy to travel with the public transport."
(Rosa Galvez - September 2007)
"This school is absolutly brilliant, the teachers are very very nice and really helpful. The concept of the school with the 3 hours classes and the 3 excursions is in my opinion just fantastic. Also the new service that you can always get help from the LILA after you leave is highly useful in my point of view. I can just recommend this school to everyone who wants to learn English. Liverpool and the surrounding towns are really gorgeous, there are a lot of Museums, Art-galleries, Cafes, Pubs, Clubs, nice Parks and so on... especially the Docks are in my eyes very nice. People are really friendly, talkative, helpful."
(Andrin Frey, September 2006)
"The school is very cosy and elegant. The atmosphere friendly and relaxed. The teachers are helpful and very well prpared. The lessons are very interesting and offer a great variety of activities from wrtiting to games.
Liverpool is very lively. It offers a lot to do. With the school I had the chance to do many interesting escursions. There are many clubs and museums. People from Liverpool are friendly, kind and helpful, very different from the typical British sterotype! I stayed in a house not far fron the city centre. Ten minutes by bus (there are buses every 5 minutes). My host was a young boy, a fan of Liverpool team. My room was big and well-furnitured. The food was very good (I even put on weight!) and my host very kind.
Most of all I enjoyed the school for the friendly atmosphere. I liked my teachers very much: they are professional but friendly at the same time. In the morning they were our teachers, in the afternoon they were our guides around Liverpool and at night they were our friends in the disco!"
(Manuela Gazzano - August 2006)
The school was suitable for the students and the teacher was brilliant. The town, Liverpool, was perfect for me because it is very related to the Beatles. It is not too big but it is charming. The accommodation and the family were both perfect. I learnt a lot with them and I would like to see them again in the future. The house was a little bit old but I liked it.
I enjoyed everything: the city, the Beatles, shopping, the students, the teacher. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the weather.
(Julia Maria Sevila Sarrio - July 2007)
