Job Description

Teachers and Teacher / Monitors required for non-residential contracts in July and August. Contracts of varying lengths from 1 to 7 weeks. Teachers deliver 15 hours of lessons per week (mornings) to mixed-nationality classes of teens. Teacher / Monitors additionally supervise students for excursions and activities 4 afternoons per week. The school may be able to arrange subsidised accommodation for suitable applicants who are not based in Nottingham or surrounding area.

Pre-requisites

Trinity CertTESOL or Cambridge CELTA or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Teaching experience preferred, although strong applications from newly-qualified teachers will be considered. Successful applicants will be required to provide 2 referees and undergo a CRB Enhanced Disclosure.

Skill Range

Teachers should be able to provide a positive and controlled classroom learning environment, with a focus on developing speaking an listening skills. Teacher / Monitors should be able to encourage all students to participate fully, and to ensure a safe environment for sports and activities.
