Job Description

Select English run year round EFL schools in Cambridge and London and have a lot of experience in sucessfully providing summer courses for children, teenagers and adults. Select is family run and prides itself on the fact that many teachers and students return summer after summer to repeat their experience.

The summer programme comprises EFL lessons in the mornings and a range of sports, leisure and cultural activities in the afternoons, evenings and at weekends.
Select English is a member of English UK and accredited by the British Council

Staff are currently needed to work at residential summer schools in east Anglia with children between 8 – 13 and teenagers between 13 – 16. Course Directors, EFL teachers and Social Organisers are needed.

Course Directors have overall responsibility for the smooth running of the centre, including overseeing of the academic and social programme aspects of the course.

Teachers teach 20 hrs (teenagers) or 15 hrs (children) per week and also need to activley participate in social and sporting activities.

Pre-requisites

The Course Director needs strong organisational and interpersonal skills are required as are a degree, EFL qualifications (Diploma level preferred) and previous experience in a similar setting.

Teachers should have a minimum of a TEFL certificate (CELTA or Trinity) and a degree
