Bucksmore Summer Programmes are looking for Directors of Studies and Counsellors (EFL teaching + activities) at 4 residential summer schools in the UK.

• King Edwards School, nr Guildford 07/09/09 – 04/08/09
• Plumpton College, nr Brighton 30/06/09 – 04/08/09
Bucksmore recruit individual students from over 20 different countries worldwide. Students take between 15 to 30 hours of English with a mix of afternoon and evening activities, full day excursions and half day trips. Staff are involved in all aspects of the programme including residential welfare duties and airport meet and greets. All students except ‘Bucky Kids’ sit the Trinity Graded Spoken English Exam as part of the English language syllabus.
Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, dynamic and be able to work well in a team. Previous summer school experience is an advantage.

Pre-requisites
Directors of Studies: First degree + Trinity LTCL Diploma TESOL or Cambridge DELTA + experience of teaching young learners – summer school experience is a decided advantage
Counsellors: First degree + CELTA or Trinity TESOL Certificate or PGCE or Bed or recognized equivalent. Experience/qualifications in sports, drama, the arts or music will also be an advantage.
EU-nationals or candidates with a valid work permit for the EU preferred
