Job Description
The ISIS summer schools are part of the ISIS Education and Travel Group (www.isisgroup.co.uk). We run summer EFL courses for students aged between 12 and 18 in universities and higher education colleges throughtout the UK. We are accredited by the British Council and an authorised Trinity College examination centre.
Students attending our summer schools receive a combination of 15 hours English language tuition per week and a comprehensive programme of activities and excursions. We have forged a good reputation amongst students, group leaders and staff for offering well-run, organised programmes. We aim to give our students the opportunity to improve their English while at the same time giving them an insight into British culture, and the chance to meet other young people from around the world.
We are recruiting qualified staff to teach during June, July and August. Teachers are asked to teach 4X90 minute lessons per day. In most centres teaching takes place Monday to Friday. Residential staff are also asked to help supervise 2 non-teaching sessions per week.

We are also recruiting Course Directors, Directors of Studies, Activity Managers and Activity Leaders.

Successful applicants may be required to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure or Disclosure Scotland.
Pre-requisites
We welcome applications from newly qualified CELTA or Trinity Cert. TESOL teachers. All staff receive full support from experienced Directors of Studies; a comprehensive and fully resourced syllabus; a teacher development programme.
Essential requirements:
Eligible to live and work in the UK
*RSA CELTA, Trinity Cert. TESOL or PGCE in English or Modern Foreign Language, or BEd
Native or near-native level competency in English
Desirable:
Teaching experience
Previous experience of working with teenagers or children
Previous residential experience
*In exceptional cases we will consider applications from teachers who do not have one of these qualifications but who have substantial teaching experience
