What happens now?

1. Now that we have your application form, we will pass it on to the school and confirm to you that this has been done via email.
    
2. Once the school has received both this and your written task (if there is one), they will review your application and contact you directly to discuss the outcome. The usual method of contact is via email, so please keep a close eye on your email account - including your junk mail facility! You should expect to hear back within 10 days at the latest, although it will usually be sooner than this. If for any reason you don’t hear back within this time, please let us know straight away so that we can follow it up with the school.

4. If you are accepted on to the course, you will then be required to make a payment to secure your place. Some schools will take payment from you directly, others will refer you back to us so that we can take your payment- don’t worry, we charge exactly the same price as the school!
    
5. Your place will be secured and the school will contact you directly with further information that you may need.
    
6. Whilst we can book and take payment for your accommodation in some locations, please note that Cactus cannot assist with visa applications*, travel arrangements or insurance (we do recommend Endsleigh as a provider though). It will be down to you to organise this is if your course is abroad.
    
7. If your TEFL course is abroad, and you wish to look for work in that country upon completion, why not brush up on your language skills before you go?

* It is often not necessary to get a visa in order to do a course but if in doubt check with your local embassy.
