Written in collaboration with Cactus by leading TEFL author, John Hughes, and designed to give you confidence before you take the plunge, the Cactus online language awareness course will help you not only to complete the pre-interview task, get through the interview but also, of course, follow the TEFL course itself.
Feedback and experience has shown us that the course is also really useful for teachers post initial training, who want a top up or a refresher. Want to know more about the Cactus TEFL ELA course? Read our FAQ section.
Cactus TEFL Online Courses
Cactus TEFL is a leading light in the TEFL industry, helping thousands of people each year to prepare a gap year or a career in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language ) . Cactus has years of experience in helping people choose TEFL courses. This has made us well aware of TEFLers' needs.
Cactus TEFL is home to two of its own courses, the Cactus TEFL ELA Course - The English Language Awareness Course, and ELM - the English Language Methodology Course. ELA was developed first as a direct response to the needs of applicants who feel they need training in the grammar of the English language, and ELM is its natural partner. Together they make up COTC, Cactus Online TEFL Course.
Cactus Trainers are some of the most highly qualified in the industry, and the ELA course, for example was written by John Hughes, TEFL columnist for the Guardian and author of a wide range of TEFL books. The course was edited by Cactus TEFL's very own Jenny Johnson, a celebrated member of the TEFL community, teacher trainer and industry expert.
