Budapest is where it's all happening
in terms of finding a course, and what an amazing place it is too.
Budapest is one of those rare
places where the whole city seems very serene. Some say it's the presence
of the wide, slow-moving Danube that does it. Whatever the magic, it's
a fantastic location from which to start out, that hasn't suffered the
overcommercialisaion that Prague has succumbed to. Prices remain highly
favourable so that eating and drinking out and about is not a problem
for the Western pocket.
TEFL Jobs in Hungary are also
relatively easy to come by, and its inclusion in the EU makes it easier
for other Europeans to organise work, but does not yet entirely exclude
teachers from the US.
Hungarian people are also unbelievably
friendly and welcoming. For the uninitiated, their language is fascinating
to listen to and a healthy challenge to learn. Head for Hungary - you
won't regret it.
