Ecuador is reported to be one of the easiest places to
pick up work in South America.
That's because English is a relatively new need here in
Ecuador, and native speakers, or even reasonably good speakers
of English are hard to find. It makes work relatively easy
to find.
Most native English teachers teach in language institutes,
with a few also working in local high schools and elementary
schools.
Standard earnings range from $500 to $800 per month, which
while it doesn’t allow for a lot of savings, is quite
enough to live comfortably whilst you're in Ecuador, which
is the main thing.
