Our CELTA courses in Lyon are held in the large, modern, well-equipped training centre in the 9th district. You will feel most welcome and comfortable. We also help you with accommodation during your stay as we have a wide network of homestay and self-contained options in the city.

CELTA, the most recognised teaching Certificate in TEFL : Two city sites in France : Strasbourg and Lyon. If you would rather take that bit longer and enjoy a beautiful, rural setting, then why not do the five-week course at our Brittany site by the sea?

A CELTA course involves a minimum of 120 contact hours with tutors.

These are broken down into:

- Practical seminars on methodology and language awareness.
- Supervised teaching practice
- Lesson preparation and planning
- Feedback on teaching pratice
- Observation of experienced teachers

We have a variety of host families who are happy to have you to stay. You always have your own room, free run of their kitchen and access to their wi-fi. The price is usually between 400 - 450 Euros for the four weeks of your stay. We also have some self-contained accommodation available which tend to be more expensive.

Houses in Lyon are known for their charm and their tasteful architecture. We believe that being surrounded by beautiful things helps make your CELTA that extra bit special !

We send out a list of our accommodation options at least a month before the course starts so that you can organise your trip well in advance and contact your hosts, who are often willing to come and meet you at the train station or airport.

3. Download the application form and save it on your computer.
4. Complete it offline in your own time
5. Go back to www.cactustefl.com, sign in and submit your completed form.
