TEFL - Cambridge CELTA Brittany, France

The training centre has been specially adapted for language classes. Each teaching room is fully equipped with projection facilities, there are computers set-up for your use, and free photocopying facilities on site. Lunch is brought to us by caterers to the dining area downstairs, and when the sun�s particularly strong, we can eat outside and watch the boats go by.

A CELTA course involves a minimum of 120 contact hours with tutors.
These are broken down into:

- Practical seminars on methodology and language awareness.
- Lesson preparation and planning
- Feedback on teaching pratice
- Observation of experienced teachers
- Supervised Teaching Practice takes place with groups of French adults ranging from beginners to advanced learners.

The beautiful Manor house Beaurepos right by the sea, set in its own gardens (500 EUR for the five weeks). A minibus will be at your disposal to take you to and from the school.

Homestay with a local family in the city of Brest. 400 EUR - 500 EUR for the 5 weeks.

Classes run Monday to Thursdays with Teaching Practice from 5 - 7 pm on those days. We start at 10 am in the morning.

The CELTA course takes place in partnership with the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI). This national network has one of the highest volume sales of English language courses in the private sector in France.

Wherever you decide to settle in France after your CELTA the centre will be able to recommend you to your local CCI for employment. They also have an established list of employers, both in France and worldwide, who regularly contact us asking for our CELTA graduates. The centre's reputation has meant that we are one of the first ports of call for language schools looking for CELTA graduates.

3. Download the application form and save it on your computer.
4. Complete it offline in your own time
5. Go back to www.cactustefl.com, sign in and submit your completed form.
